Purchasing Coordinator

• Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 per year + Full Benefits (Good-faith estimated range)

The Contractor Consultants is recruiting a Purchasing Coordinator for a growing commercial contractor in West Allis, WI. In this role, you will manage procurement of construction materials, negotiate vendor pricing, issue purchase orders, and ensure on-time jobsite delivery.

• Material Procurement:
  Issue purchase orders for construction materials, specialized tools, and subcontractor equipment rentals.
• Vendor Negotiation:
  Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with building supply vendors and distributors.
• Order Tracking & Logistics:
  Monitor order status, expedite delayed shipments, and coordinate jobsite deliveries with project superintendents.
• Invoice Reconciliation:
  Match purchase orders with delivery tickets and vendor invoices, resolving pricing discrepancies.
• Inventory Management:
  Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor pricing trends for primary construction commodities.

• Education
  :
  Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience
  : 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience within the construction or building materials industry.
• Skills
  :
  Strong negotiation skills, familiarity with construction ERP systems, attention to detail, and communication skills.
