Hire TypeTemp-to-Hire (3+ months)
Shift- 1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm CT (Monday to Friday) - eligible for OT
- 2nd Shift: 4pm - 12:30am CT (Monday to Friday) - eligible for OT
Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
Global Power Components is a privately held, financially sound, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures, and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
Responsibilities- Read blueprints to determine materials necessary for projects as well as timelines to prepare for projects.
- Move materials to work areas in preparation for building product.
- Coordinate and stage materials quickly and safely
- 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience as a material handler is preferred
- Forklift certified preferred
- Ability to read blueprints to be able to pick appropriate materials
- Critical thinker who can make decisions and act on them
- Ability to follow instructions
- Possess ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Read, write and speak English fluently
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical and drug screen
