Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• 6-week schedule cycle with every other weekend rotation required

• Every other major holiday coverage expected

• No on-call responsibilities

• Patient ratio averages up to 6 patients per nurse depending on staffing

• Minimum 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS

• ACLS certification preferred

• General Medical/Surgical skills required including traches, chest tubes, cardiac rhythm strip interpretation, Lasix drips, insulin drips, heparin drips, and wound vacs

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Work with Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing system

• Floating to any Medical/Surgical unit as assigned by House Supervisor

• 1 shift orientation provided

• Scrub color requirement: any solid color with no logos

• Free parking available

• Up to 7 days of requested time off approved with contract extension
