Registered Nurse Psychiatric in West Allis, WI

Sage Group Health Care  Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses for travel /contract positions in West Allis, WI. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Start Date : ASAP

Employment Type: Full-time, Travel,Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate:

Range $2232 to $2340 weekly Gross pay
(Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Psychiatric (Adolescent Unit)

Shift: 12 hours shifts, Nights, 7a - 7.30p

Schedule:
36 hours / Week,12hours shifts, any 3 days of the week including every other weekend and Holidays Rotation

Position Requirements:

  • 2+years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
  • Comfortable and willing to work with children, adolescents, adults &older adult patient population
  • Float to Adult and Adolescent units

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

  • ASN or an equivalent – Required
  • BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
  • RN License for WI or Compact - Required
  • CPI or HWC Certification - Preferred
  • BLS Certification from AHA
    - Required

Job Description:

  • Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
  • Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units
  • Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans.
  • Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
  • Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
  • Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
