Crew Member at Wendy’s

Position Title: Crew Member Reports To: Restaurant Manager/Supervisor

Position Overview: As a Crew Member at Wendy's, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, fast, and enjoyable experience for our guests. Whether you are working in the kitchen, preparing food, or interacting with customers in the dining area, your dedication to providing high-quality service and food will help uphold Wendy’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service
  • Greet customers warmly and with enthusiasm.
  • Assist customers with menu options, take accurate orders, and ensure all orders are processed correctly.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with a positive attitude.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring the restaurant is always presentable for guests.
Food Preparation and Quality
  • Prepare food according to Wendy’s standards, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure food portions and presentation meet company standards.
Cash Handling and Register Operation
  • Accurately handle cash transactions and process credit/debit payments.
  • Provide change and receipts to customers in a timely manner.
  • Keep the cash register area clean and organized.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Assist with inventory management and stocking as needed.
Health and Safety Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and restroom areas.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols.
Additional Duties
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
  • Take part in training programs to develop skills and improve performance.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 16 years of age (or comply with state-specific labor laws).
  • Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Must be dependable and punctual.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks.
