Fitter Welder

Job description

Fitter Welder able to perform flux core and mig welding: layout, fit and position welds. You would also be responsible to work from drawings, prints and job layouts, use tape measure, square, and other measuring tools. This is a first shift position. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Monday - Friday. Ability to kneel, bend, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong math skills. Reading blueprints, hand tools (grinders, drills) ability to drive a forklift, overhead crane, jib cranes.

• Minimum of 3 year of experience in fitting
• Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, and stick welding
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Experience with open table lay out
• Ability to operate forklifts, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and power tools

• Excellent welding skills with the ability to produce high-quality welds
• Proficient in using various tools and equipment related to welding and fitting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and work orders
• Knowledge of different welding techniques and their applications
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standard
