Roles and Responsibilities- Implement strategies to achieve organizational goals and coach individuals with disabilities at employment and volunteer locations, building skills and independence.
- Plan and manage own work to reliably complete routine job responsibilities and special assignments.
- Identify root causes of routine problems, interpret data, and resolve issues.
- Serve as an ambassador for Goodwill in the community, participating in volunteer opportunities.
- Facilitate orientation for individuals to community employers or volunteer site procedures, products, services, standards, policies, benefits, work schedule, and opportunities.
- Coach and retrain individuals in specific job tasks; assess learning styles and use a variety of instructional techniques.
- Provide job-related counseling and guidance in career exploration, personal grooming, social skill awareness, effective money management, and general community skills.
- Monitor and support individual health and safety, communicating with caregivers and funding sources, and advocating when appropriate.
- Provide job retention support by targeting behavior, work or transportation issues; develop plans to reduce problematic behaviors and implement training strategies.
- Coordinate and lead meetings with individuals and key stakeholders; maintain effective communication and professional relationships.
- Conduct case management activities, including writing case notes, developing Individual Plans, and submitting monthly progress reports.
- Complete other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
- Two years of college education or an equivalent level of experience, and a minimum of one year of experience.
- Valid driver’s license, necessary insurance, and legal ability to operate a vehicle.
- Availability to work nights and weekends based on client schedules and coverage needs.

Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds, frequently lifts and/or moves up to 20 pounds, occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
