Retail Banker II Float - Long Island Central Region role k location:
West Babylon, New York.
Hours:
40 per week. Pay: $25.50 - $36.00 USD.

Responsibilities- Acts as a subject matter expert in the Store for Customers and colleagues regarding all TD products, services, policies, and procedures, especially personal and business banking.
- Maintains broad knowledge of the full product suite, services, and processes; works with moderate complexity/risk.
- Makes product recommendations based on Customer needs; highlights features and benefits to support Customers and their goals.
- Uses Customer Relationship Management tools to proactively assess Customers, identify solutions, and lead outbound sales activities.
- Evaluates issues based on established practices and precedents; communicates detailed information within the team.
- Builds working relationships with customers and related teams; participates in Customer outreach, servicing and advice activities.
- Maintains active registration with NMLS as required.
- HS Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience required;
Teller experience is preferred. - Cross-trained to take customer transactions; agility, teamwork, and flexibility to adapt to different locations.
- Ability to travel within a designated region for same-day coverage.
- Superior customer service, strong organization, and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management abilities; proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to provide community financial education;
Notary License preferred.
- Delivers Legendary Experience by helping Customers, building relationships, and providing service and advice.
- Supports the Bank's Customer Service Strategy with end-to-end advisory support and proactive insights.
- Serves as a Customer advocate, resolving questions and guiding customers toward self-service options when appropriate.
- Maintains product knowledge, listens to Customer needs, and offers solutions or referrals.
- Manages a variety of teller transactions while monitoring for fraud and adhering to policies.
- Educates Customers on self-service channels, including digital options, and acts as a brand ambassador.
- Promotes the full suite of products, sales, services, and banking capabilities; adheres to policies and procedures.
- Supports timely and accurate completion of processes; escalates non-standard or high-risk transactions as needed.
- Ensures documentation reflects client intentions and complies with rules and regulations; conducts due diligence for customer transactions.
- Contributes to operational excellence and adheres to Risk and Control Policies; fosters a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Participates in performance management, knowledge transfer, and career development; acts as a brand ambassador for TD.
- Position falls within the definition of Loan Originator under Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act) and Mortgage Loan Originator under the SAFE Act; eligibility for employment and NMLS registration required.
- Requires satisfactory results on criminal background and credit checks as part of federal requirements.
