Accounting/Auditing and Finance

Performs a wide variety of basic credit and collection functions.

• Reviews and monitors credit sources, credit files, customer applications and delinquent accounts.
• Obtains required information from credit organizations, banks and loan associations.
• Maintains records on credit risks, delinquent accounts and incomplete files.
• Mails follow-up letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• Confers with customers by telephone in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, and reviews terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer.
• Receives and posts payments on customer accounts.
• Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.
• Sorts and files correspondence.

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
