WEST BEND at our CP-WEST BEND HEALTH CENTER facility. This job is ON - SITE. 40.00 hours per week (FTE 1.000000). Shift: Shift 4, rotating 8-hour shifts staffing Monday through Friday 8am to 6:30pm with Saturday weekend rotation.

Compensation: $5,000 sign on bonus.

Provides technical and clerical assistance to the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders and the monitoring of drug therapy. May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code - Pharmacy Examining Board - Pharmacy Practice Sections.

Assist pharmacists with processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy. Perform duties as directed, within the scope of a licensed pharmacist or technician role.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a hospital pharmacy department is preferred.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program is preferred.

Licensure: Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Staff hired into this role prior to 3/31/23 must have applied for Wisconsin registration by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 to obtain registration. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCE or ExCPT is preferred.
