Painter - Wet Spray (Experienced) 1st Shift
ACI is a high-quality coatings specialty business with locations in West Bend, WI and Oshkosh, WI. Since 1983, ACI has specialized in the application of Liquid Primers, Topcoats, Military Coatings, Specialty Coatings, Zinc Phosphate and Aluminum Conversion Coatings.
Responsibilities- Meet quality, safety, and production standards while applying coatings to various substrates (large and small parts) using HVLP, electrostatic, and powder equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
- Apply a variety of coatings including but not limited to CARC, 2-part epoxy and enamels, both solvent and waterborne.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and correct potential quality issues associated with coatings, equipment, and part presentation.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience as a wet paint sprayer.
- Complete understanding of fluid delivery and atomizing setup to provide maximum transfer efficiency and throughput.
- Complete understanding of MIL thickness and ability to perform a MIL thickness test using wet and dry MIL gauges.
- Prior experience in a job shop setting.
