Qualifications Nurse Practitioner Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (preferred).
- Master’s degree in nursing and graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License in the NLC.
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent.
- Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration required or eligible to obtain.
- Bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies.
- Current state certification as a PA; current DEA registration.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent.
- Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration required or eligible to obtain.
