Location:
West Bend, Wisconsin – Froedtert West Bend Hospital (on‑site).
Position:
Security Officer – full‑time, Shift 4. FTE: 0.001.
Providing security in and around the hospital, facilities, campus, ancillary clinics, and parking structures. Focus on the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff. Respond immediately to dispatch calls, act as a visible deterrent, investigate unusual circumstances, assist with de‑escalation, enforce security protocols, and perform other duties as assigned.
ExperienceMinimum 1 year of security experience or equivalent.
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
Training- Proof of training in the Froedtert‑approved DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) course within the previous three years or the ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
- Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS‑700 and the IC‑100 courses within six months of hire.
- Completion of the Field Training Officer (FTO) program within 120 days.
- Prefer familiarity with CCTV systems and operation.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Push‑pull force generation up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Occasional stair climbing and frequent walking.
- Independently get up from the floor to standing position.
- Valid driver's license required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent required within three months of hire.
