Management Accountant

Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a management accounting to working with a rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Smethwick.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounts.

• Month-end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and recharges.

• Production of monthly management accounts, reporting, and variance analysis.

• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Develop and enhance management reporting packs, taking ownership of assigned areas.

• Support group cashflow forecasting and financial planning.

• Produce and analyse operational KPIs relating to stock, scrap, and yield performance.

• Provide financial insight to support manufacturing and operational decision-making.

Requirements

• Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing

• Advanced Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to interpret financial data.

• Motivated, ambitious, and keen to develop within a growing business.

• Experience supporting audits and statutory reporting processes.
