Payroll Specialist (12-Week Temporary Assignment)
Location: North west Birmingham
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 FTE (Pro Rata)
Contract: 12-Week Temporary Assignment
We are recruiting for two Payroll Specialists to support a 12-week internal payroll audit project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and audit historical payroll data.
- Analyse, validate and reconcile payroll records.
- Investigate discrepancies and support payroll compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate audit documentation.
About You
- Previous experience working within an in-house payroll environment.
- Sound knowledge of UK payroll legislation and best practice.
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse and reconcile payroll data.
- Experience supporting payroll audits, compliance checks, or data review projects.
- Understanding of National Minimum Wage regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
