Audit Senior

Audit Senior Accountant - Peterborough Fresh People are recruiting an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior to join an established and growing professional services and advisory firm in Peterborough. This is an opportunity for a well-rounded auditor who is already confident leading audits through the full audit cycle and is looking for a role where their level of responsibility and client exposure can continue to grow.

The Role You will take responsibility for the delivery of audit assignments across a varied client portfolio, including:
Leading audits from planning through to completion Managing audit fieldwork and ensuring assignments progress to agreed timescales Preparing and reviewing audit files and working papers Identifying and resolving audit issues Working directly with clients throughout assignments Preparing financial statements and supporting year-end reporting Coordinating and supporting junior members of the audit team Working closely with Managers and senior colleagues Taking on increasing client and assignment responsibility as you develop About You ACA or ACCA qualified Strong audit experience gained within accountancy practice Able to lead audits through planning, fieldwork and completion Well-rounded technically with strong attention to detail Confident dealing directly with clients Able to manage assignments, priorities and deadlines Comfortable supporting and guiding junior colleagues Ambitious to develop into a role with greater responsibility The Opportunity to join a growing firm where the initial focus will be on high-quality audit delivery, with increasing client ownership, team responsibility and progression as your experience develops.
