Sandwell Council is extending its borough-wide Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team as part of a significant investment to strengthen how we respond to ASB across the borough.
As an ASB Assistant, you will support the new single front door and structured triage model, ensuring that reports are logged accurately, cases are set up correctly, and residents receive a timely and professional response.
Role includes:- Logging new ASB reports and ensuring accurate case recording
- Monitoring shared inboxes and supporting structured triage processes
- Preparing agendas, minutes and action logs for tasking and review meetings
- Maintaining clear audit trails and supporting data quality checks
- Providing professional customer communication in line with the ASB Pledge
- Experience providing administrative support within a busy, customer-facing environment
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Accurate data entry skills and confidence using electronic systems
- Clear written communication skills, using plain English
- Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and escalates safeguarding concerns
This role supports a high-profile service working with vulnerable individuals and complex community issues. The successful candidate will be calm, professional and able to work effectively within a borough-wide team.
