Bodyshop Prepper

Bodyshop Prepper required in the West Bromwich area

Basic salary up to £45,000

Hours Monday - Friday ONLY (7am - 3:30pm)

Overtime availability (1.5x)

My client is a reputable automotive repair centre renowned for absolute perfection, quality repairs and all attention to detail to ensure all aspects of vehicle body repair.

The successful individual will prep vehicle panels prior to painting, including masking, removing corrosion, sanding, filling, priming and polishing. You will be able to assess and identify different finished coatings, and ensure you quality check your work, ensuring there are no defects, and report any issues.

• Preparing vehicles for paint – masking, priming, sanding, and cleaning panels.
• Filler work.
• Ensuring there are no defects on the prepared panels.
• Supporting other areas of the workshop where needed.
• Assisting with the training of junior members of the team.
• Having a high level of efficiency and attention to detail.
• Being able to work in a small team and as an individual.
• Quality checking on completion to ensure there are no defects.
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines.

• Up to £40,000 basic salary.
• Monday - Friday ONLY.

• Hold a minimum of 3 years refurbishment or accident repair experience.
• Excellent prepping skills.
• Have proven experience in delivering high-quality repairs.

• Able to meet targets and deadlines, working effectively under pressure.
