Swift Temps are currently recruiting for an experienced  Bodywork Technician / Painter  to join a busy automotive operation in Tipton.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their way around vehicle bodywork, from assessing damage and repairing panels through to preparing and painting vehicles to a high standard.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Inspecting vehicles and assessing bodywork damage
Producing accurate repair estimates and entering parts information onto the relevant systems
Carrying out bodywork repairs and restoring damaged components
Straightening, shaping, aligning and fitting body panels and components
Preparing vehicles for paint
Painting vehicles to a high standard
Checking completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
Following safe working practices and maintaining a clean and organised working environment
About You
We're looking for someone with:
At least  3 years' experience  in vehicle body repair, automotive repair, a dealership or similar environment
A strong understanding of vehicle bodywork and repair techniques
Experience preparing vehicles for paint and carrying out painting work
Technical qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience with damage assessment and repair estimates would be advantageous
Good communication skills in English
A practical, hands-on approach and good attention to detail
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
A willingness to learn and develop your skills
A  Category B driving licence
Willingness to provide a certificate of no criminal record
