Vehicle Technician – Oldbury
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, LCV Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a commercial fleet workshop in Oldbury. Applicants must have previous Vehicle technician experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.
Location:
Oldbury
Salary: £36,465 – £38,896 Basic + Overtime
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm | 42.5 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role Service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles and fleet vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
Complete repairs to required safety and quality standards
Accurately record completed maintenance and repair work
Work closely with other Technicians and workshop colleagues
Vehicle Technician Requirements Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic or LCV Technician
Previous experience working on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience
Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK, Irish or EU manual driving licence
Right to work in the UK
