Construction Buyer - Civil Engineering business
West Bromwich 35 - 55,000
Materials and Plant Procurement across sites
A well recognised Civil Engineering contracting business requires a Buyer or a Senior Buyer to join the team and take on the duties surrounding the Buyer role for the companies construction sites.
Materials and Plant- The buyer will be fully responsible for material price negotiation
- Setting up supply chains with new suppliers
- Organising long term deals
- Planning project procurement strategy
- Overseeing stock usage on sites
- Communicating with site teams
- Also, dealing with small and large plant procurement
- Buying:
Rebar and drainage, Concrete, aggregates, and muck away and blacktop, Steel Works, etc
Salary and package to suit. But circa 35,000 - 55,000 depending on experience
