This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or further develop their career within a niche and highly regulated sector, working across fire protection projects.
The Role
You will work closely with the commercial and operational teams, supporting the financial and contractual management of projects from pre-construction through to final account. The role offers strong exposure to all aspects of quantity surveying within a supportive and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the commercial management of fire protection projects
Support cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
Work closely with project managers and engineers to monitor financial performance
Assist with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure contracts are administered effectively and in line with company procedures
Help identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
What They're Looking For
Assistant or Intermediate level Quantity Surveyors will be considered
Experience with in mechanical, electrical, sprinkler systems, or passive fire protection is preferred
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
Strong attention to detail and developing commercial awareness
Eagerness to learn and progress within a specialist sector
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
