Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £12.71 per hour initially, increasing to £13.27 per hour after 12 weeks
Overtime: After 12 weeks, overtime may be available at £19.91 per hour

We are currently recruiting for Customer Service Advisors to join a busy team in Smethwick.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who enjoy working with people, are confident communicating over the phone and by email, and have a strong customer-focused approach.

You will be responsible for handling customer enquiries and complaints, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring queries are dealt with professionally and efficiently.

• Handling customer enquiries by telephone and email
• Dealing with customer complaints in a professional and helpful manner
• Providing accurate information and resolving customer queries
• Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
• Updating customer records and internal systems
• Working as part of a busy and supportive team
• Escalating complex issues where necessary
• Following company procedures and maintaining a professional approach

The role is 37.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute unpaid break.

You will work 5 days out of 7, with the following operating hours:

• Monday Friday: 08 30
• Saturday Sunday: 08 00
• Weekend working: 1 weekend every 6 weeks

Your working days and shifts will be confirmed as part of the recruitment process.

• £12.71 per hour initially
• £13.27 per hour after 12 weeks
• Potential for overtime after 12 weeks

• 2 weeks' fully supported training

All successful candidates will receive 2 weeks of training to help you settle into the role:

Week 1 Introduction

• Introduction to the company and team
• Role expectations and procedures
• Customer service training

Week 2 System Training

• Full training on the systems you will be using
• Practical guidance and support
• Preparation for moving into the role

• Be confident speaking to customers over the phone
• Have good written communication skills for dealing with emails
• Be comfortable handling complaints and difficult conversations
• Have a professional and positive attitude
• Be able to remain calm under pressure
• Have good attention to detail
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be comfortable working as part of a busy team

Previous customer service or call centre experience would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
