Customer Service Advisor

Location: Smethwick

FT Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our brand new client based in Smethwick, We are looking for an individual who has experience within the Customer Service sector. This is a fantastic oppurtunity for someone who is looking for career progression and wanting to work in an established busy environment.

Your role will entail:
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails from customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and requests.
- Accurately enter customer information and update records in the company database.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve department goals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company products, services, and policies to effectively assist customers.
- Follow established procedures for handling customer complaints and escalating issues when necessary.
- Provide product recommendations and assist with order placement or modifications.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.

what we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
