We are seeking a passionate and committed Maths Teacher with TLR responsibilities to join our team at The Westminster School, Rowley Regis. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled practitioner to lead the strategic development of maths teaching and learning, while making a lasting difference in the lives of our students.

You will be responsible for further developing the Maths curriculum throughout the school and providing CPD and development to non-subject specialists. A key part of this role will be to deliver accreditations from Entry Level 2 to Level 2 from a range of examination boards.

The Westminster School is a special school catering to 320 pupils aged 7–19 with a range of special educational needs. We pride ourselves on delivering a child-centred curriculum and fostering a supportive, inclusive community for both students and staff. Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of high-quality maths teaching across the school.
  • Support colleagues in delivering innovative, engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Drive progress and attainment in maths, ensuring all students can thrive.
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement through curriculum innovation, data analysis, and staff development.
  • Champion numeracy across the curriculum and promote a love of mathematics.
