About the Role
We are currently seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in the Wednesbury area. This is a full-time, long-term position within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children at a crucial stage in their early development.
The school provides a warm, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment, supported by a passionate and experienced EYFS team. They are committed to delivering high-quality, play-based learning that supports children's academic, social, and emotional development.
This role would suit an Early Years Practitioner who is passionate about early education and eager to make a meaningful impact from January 2026 onwards.
Key Responsibilities
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
Work closely with EYFS teachers and support staff to deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning
Support children's development through play-based and structured activities
Assist with observations, assessments, and planning
Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups across the EYFS curriculum
Promote positive behaviour, communication, and independence
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Experience working within an EYFS setting
Confidence in managing daily routines and supporting young children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
