Working Hours:
28.75 Hours Per Week, 8:35am to 3:20pm – Lunch not included, term time only.
Salary:
Grade B 3-4 FTE £24,796 - £25,185 (Actual Pro Rata Salary £16,821 - £17,085).
Contract:
Fixed‑Term Contract until 17 July 2026 (SEND Funding).
The successful candidate will work across the school predominantly with children with SEND, providing additional support during lessons and role involves supporting intimate care needs/toileting, supporting high‑need pupils on a 1:1 basis, and adapting to varied working environments. The candidate will also administer basic first aid (training provided) and support safeguarding duties.
Qualifications and Experience- Minimum of NVQ Level 2.
- Good general education levels in English and Maths (Level 2 at minimum).
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in an educational establishment.
- Experience supporting children with SEND and knowledge of learning difficulties, disabilities and challenging behaviours.
- Ability to adapt to different working environments and children with varying needs.
- Experience creating resources for children.
- Experience completing and recording observational assessments and contributing to assessment judgments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, caring attitude, flexible working patterns.

Enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references required. The role covers Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016). Fluency in English essential. Pre‑employment checks carried out in line with KCSIE.
