Flourish Education is working in partnership with a welcoming two‑form entry Primary School in Cradley Heath, which is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team.

This full‑time Year 3 Class Teacher role comes with full teaching responsibilities and is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. The school is proud of its positive pupil behaviour, supportive staff culture, and strong leadership.

Rated Good by Ofsted, the school offers a collaborative working environment with excellent support structures in place. You will be part of a two‑form entry Year 3 team, providing opportunities for shared planning, moderation, and professional development.

• Taking full responsibility for a Year 3 class, including planning, teaching, and assessment.
• Delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Creating a positive, well‑managed classroom environment with excellent pupil behaviour.
• Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress to inform teaching and interventions.
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Working collaboratively with parallel class teachers, teaching assistants, and senior leaders.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to obtain QTS (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Experience or training within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3.
• A secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to plan engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire pupils.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months.
• A minimum of two excellent references.

• A competitive salary of up to £223.62 per day which equates to £43,605 based on working 5 days a week for the full school year (M1-M6 Paid to scale).
