Lunchtime Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly school community in West Bromwich. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour both in the dining hall and on the playground.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful contribution to school life.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground, and other designated areas
 
* Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting respectful interactions
 
* Assisting younger children with opening food packaging where needed
 
* Managing minor incidents and reporting concerns to senior staff
 
* Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
 
* Supporting inclusive play and positive social development

The Ideal Candidate Will:
 
* Be calm, patient, and approachable
 
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills
 
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team
 
* Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
 
* Have previous experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
