Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced Assistant SENCo for one of our Oldbury, Sandwell, West Midlands (B69) based primary schools. If you are a SEND experienced education professional, who is available from September 2026 and are able to travel to Sandwell we would be keen to speak with you.
This primary school based Assistant SENCo job is offered on a 12-month contract from September 2026. Your typical working pattern will be 30 hours per week, term-time only with an additional 5 days for continued professional development training (CPD). The working day is 8.30am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Some before and after school hours may be required on occasion and overtime would be paid for these.
Examples of these include Parents’ evenings and parent consultations. The role is solely focussed on the duties of an Assistant SENCo and is non-class based. A full job specification can be provided to shortlisted candidates.

In order to be successfully shortlisted in your applications with us we will require the following:
A relevant UK based degree level qualification.
Substantial experience working within pupils with SEND within an education setting.
All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
Exceptional references.
