Provide academic support to under‑achievers and students with Autism
As an Academic Learning Mentor, you will work closely with students who require additional support to make progress in the classroom. You will provide focused 1:1 and small‑group interventions, helping pupils improve their confidence, engagement and attainment. You will also support students with Autism, adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs.
The CandidateThis role will suit a graduate who is patient, resilient and committed to helping young people succeed. You should be confident building positive relationships with students and able to explain work in a clear, encouraging way.
Requirements- 2:2 degree or above in any subject.
- A genuine interest in supporting young people with additional academic or SEN needs.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, adaptable approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
