We are looking for a strong classroom practitioner in Music to join our experienced and supportive faculty. We want a candidate who believes in social mobility and is passionate about music, instilling this within the children at WOA and developing their sense of the world outside of Wednesbury.
Responsibilities- Teach music to students aged 11-16.
- Support students in the two focused SEND provisions, including those on the autistic spectrum and those who are deaf and hearing impaired.
- Address social, emotional and mental health needs of pupils.
- Collaborate with specialist curriculum, SEND and student welfare staff.
- Work with the local community, families, schools and businesses to support pupils' progress.
- Strong classroom practitioner in Music.
- Ability to inspire and engage young people.
- Passion for music and belief in social mobility.
