Septermber 2026 start. Will consider interim as well as permanent appointments. Governors and senior leaders at our friendly and inclusive school seek a highly motivated, experienced, and committed School Business Manager who firmly believes that every child, regardless of circumstances, can achieve excellent outcomes. The right candidate will have the ability to keep ahead of funding and legislative changes that apply to the education sector.

They will also manage effective whole-school administration and organisational systems, ensuring the adequate provision of resources throughout the school.

• Sound experience of financial management and budgetary planning and control.
• Proven record of financial and project management, and skills in implementing strategic change.
• Experience of successful funding bids.
• Confidence in accepting responsibility and working independently as well as collaboratively with other staff.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively.
• Ability to line‑manage and delegate efficiently and effectively.
• Commitment to working in line with the school ethos and mission.

• A supportive Governing Body with a clear vision for the future of the school.

Hours:

37 hours per week, term time + 2 weeks (7.30 – 4 for 4 days with 1‑hour lunch; 7.30 – 3.30 for 1 day with 1‑hour lunch).
