Chanakya National Law University is a public law school and a National Law University in Patna, Bihar, India. It was established in 2006 by the Government of Bihar as a public university dedicated to the field of legal education. The Chief Justice of Patna High Court is the ex officio chancellor of the university.

Chanakya National Law University, Patna, a premier institution of legal education invites applications for the following teaching and non‑teaching posts: (1) Professor, (2) Associate Professor, (3) Assistant Professor (4) Registrar, (5) Dy. Registrar, (6) Assistant Registrar, (7) Accounts Officer (Jr.), (8) Data Entry Operator and (9) Cook cum attendant.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and other eligibility conditions shall be as per the UGC Regulations, 2018 as amended from time to time and as adopted by Chanakya National Law University, Patna.

• Professor:
  • (Academic Level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,44,200/-) as per 7th CPC with other admissible allowances.
• Associate Professor:
  • (Academic Level 13A with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400/-) as per 7th CPC with other admissible allowances.
• Assistant Professor:
  • (Academic Level 10 with rationalized entry pay of Rs. 57,700/-) as per 7th CPC with other admissible allowances.
