As part of our governing body, you will contribute to the strategic leadership of the school, helping us maintain a safe, nurturing, and high‑achieving learning environment.

The Role of a Governor- Setting the school’s vision and strategic direction
- Supporting and challenging the Headteacher and leadership team
- Monitoring pupil achievement and school performance
- Ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing are a priority
- Overseeing the efficient use of the school’s budget
- Have a passion for improving children’s education
- Can think strategically and work as part of a team
- Are able to offer skills or experience in areas such as education, finance, HR, safeguarding, health, or community engagement
- Are committed to equality, inclusion, and safeguarding
- Time Commitment:
Approximately 6 meetings per year (usually evenings) and occasional visits to the school - Training and development opportunities
