Overview

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time opportunity in a primary school setting? Flourish Education are working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in West Bromwich, seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September on a fixed-term contract. The role is full-time and based across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing general classroom support and assisting pupils with their learning and development.

The role involves working across a range of classes, supporting teachers to deliver engaging lessons and helping to create a positive learning environment throughout the school. The school provides a supportive and collaborative environment where staff work closely together to ensure all pupils receive the support they need to achieve their full potential.

• Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and support progress.
• Assisting teachers with the preparation and delivery of classroom activities.
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence within lessons.
• Supporting pupils  social, emotional and academic development.
• Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Assisting with classroom organisation and resource preparation.
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, supportive and proactive approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A DBS on the Update Service or issued within the last 12 months.
• A minimum of two excellent references.

• Competitive daily rate, from £88.92 to £100 per day, based on experience.
• Holiday Pay – PAYE candidates accrue 12.07% of their day rate.

This Level 3 Teaching Assistant position is based in West Bromwich and is easily commutable from Wednesbury, Smethwick, Great Barr and the surrounding areas. The school offers good transport links and on-site parking.
