Graduate Academic Mentor
Senior school located in Willenhall. A temporary contract from September 2026 to July 2027, paying £85‑£101 per day. The role involves delivering one‑to‑one and small‑group academic support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN), helping them understand lesson material, complete tasks and build confidence.
The RoleAs a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will provide targeted support to pupils with SEN. You will help them understand lesson content, complete classwork and develop confidence to work more independently. Working closely with teachers and the SEN team, you will adapt activities and offer encouragement throughout the school day.
Requirements- 2:2 degree or above in any subject.
- Genuine interest in supporting students with SEN.
- Strong communication skills and a patient approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Enhanced DBS – must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
