Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist SEND primary school based in Oldbury. The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children with profound and complex needs, where every pupil is encouraged to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills through a personalised approach to learning.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA on a long-term basis from September. The successful HLTA will be responsible for delivering lessons across a PPA timetable while supporting primary‑aged pupils with profound and complex needs, working closely with teachers and support staff to provide engaging, high‑quality learning experiences.

• Experience working within a UK primary or SEND setting
• Experience supporting children with profound and complex needs, including PMLD and associated learning difficulties
• Confidence delivering lessons across a PPA timetable and leading whole‑class learning
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils and colleagues
