Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (Learning Disabilities & Autism)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum + Performance Bonus

Home Size: 3 Bed Children's Residential LD Home

• Previous experience managing a Children's Residential Home
  , with a minimum of 2 years' management experience
  .
• Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs
  .
• A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, safeguarding procedures and child protection legislation
  .
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience developing and leading high-performing residential care teams.
• A passion for delivering high-quality, child-centred care that promotes positive outcomes.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
  , or be working towards the qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager for the home.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations
  , safeguarding legislation and Quality Standards.
• Provide strong leadership, guidance and support to the staff team, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
• Develop and oversee personalised care plans tailored to each child's individual needs, promoting their emotional, social, educational and personal development.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment where children feel valued, supported and empowered.
• Recruit, supervise and develop staff, ensuring high standards of performance and professional development.
• Manage the home's budget, policies and operational procedures effectively.
• Build positive relationships with families, local authorities, education providers and healthcare professionals.
• Drive continuous improvement across the service, with a focus on achieving and maintaining strong Ofsted outcomes.
• Ensure safeguarding, risk management and child protection practices remain at the highest standard.
