Overview
CPSS are looking to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for one of our highly valued schools located in the Sandwell area. This is a full-time Monday to Friday vacancy starting September 2026 until Christmas.
Responsibilities- Cover classes and small groups in EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Assist with teaching whole classes as well as several year groups in a primary school.
- Support SEN pupils by working with small groups and 1-to-1s when needed.
- Teaching Assistant related (Level 2+)
- University graduates (with relevant degree)
- Childcare related (Level 2+)
- Health and social care related (Ideally with school experience or basic knowledge of the relevant curriculum)
- Unqualified teaching assistant with classroom experience
- Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed
