A welcoming Primary School in Oldbury is seeking a motivated and passionate Nursery Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time basis, covering a maternity. This Nursery Teacher role is ideal for a qualified teacher with a passion for Early Years education, looking to work in a supportive and well-structured environment.

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities within the school’s pre-school class, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment, ensuring pupils make strong developmental progress during this important stage of their learning.

• Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Observing, assessing, and tracking children’s progress, providing clear feedback to support development.
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders.
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant Early Years teaching qualification.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a passion for Early Years education.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that support early development.

• Competitive salary - £34,068 - £46,937 per annum, based on previous pay scale and experience.
