As an English Lecturer you will create motivating, accessible learning experiences for students studying Functional Skills English and GCSE English.

• Deliver Functional Skills English from Entry Level to Level 2
• Teach GCSE English to learners resitting exams
• Support both younger learners and adult students
• Provide high‑quality, classroom‑based teaching and learner support
• Take on short‑term, long‑term, or ongoing teaching commitments
• Appointments may be on a permanent, fixed‑term, or flexible FE Bank basis depending on curriculum needs

• Qualified English Lecturer or Tutor
• Experience teaching Functional Skills and/or GCSE English
• Degree or relevant qualification in English or related field
• Recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain one
• Past experience delivering Functional Skills English and/or GCSE English
• Learner‑focused, inclusive teaching approach
• Seeking flexible employment – full‑time, part‑time, temporary, or permanent arrangements
