As a Plumbing Lecturer at Wolverhampton College, you will:

• Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Plumbing programmes.
• Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
• Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and hands‑on industry skills.
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within classroom and workshop settings.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an outstanding learner experience.

• Industry experience within Plumbing or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong practical knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for supporting and developing learners.
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
• A valid or updated DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
