At New Directions, we have partnered with a primary aged school setting in the West Bromwich area, who are looking to appoint a long-term, full-time, SEND TA for their KS1 SEND resource hub provision.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:25, starting September 2026 until a minimum of July 2027, with the potential for a permanent contract.
The school’s SEND hub supports a class of 10 students, who are autistic and have speech & language support need. You will need to be empathetic, supportive and engaging to be a good fit, you will be working alongside an experienced friendly teacher and another SEND TA.
While previous school experience would be useful, the school are happy to appoint an applicant with transferrable experience from care, support or residential backgrounds. They are looking for an applicant who will match the friendly and supportive current class team.
This position pays from £92.56 to £98.32 depending on experience and qualifications
