Vision for Education is looking to appoint a SEND Classroom Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary schools. This is a temporary Teaching Assistant role, which will commence ASAP.
The roleWorking as part of a dynamic and creative team, the Classroom Assistant will focus on assisting the class and their needs, whilst also providing general classroom support for a small group of students with SEN and aditional needs.
The schoolThis SEND provision within the primary school is looking for a committed and successful Teaching Assistant to join their motivated team. The local community is highly supportive of the school and parental involvement is very positive.
RequirementsTo be considered for the SEND Teaching Assistant position, you will:
- Have experience of working as a Classroom Assistant in an SEND environment or SEN support experience in a mainstream classroom.
- Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
- Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
- Ideally have experience in an SEND environment.
