Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for flexible, varied work across secondary schools in the Oldbury area? This role offers the perfect balance of independence, consistency, and day‑to‑day variety.
About the RoleWe’re seeking confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools in Oldbury on a daily supply basis. You’ll step into classrooms to supervise lessons during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
Working Hours- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Full‑time or part‑time – completely flexible
- Short‑notice bookings are common, so adaptability is key
We’re looking for candidates with previous Cover Supervisor experience or strong classroom management experience within a school setting.
- Have experience supervising classes or supporting teaching staff
- Can manage behaviour confidently and professionally
- Communicate clearly with students and staff
- Adapt quickly to new schools and routines
- Are dependable, punctual, and proactive
- Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher
- Delivering pre‑planned work and keeping students focused
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Building positive relationships with staff and students
- Representing the agency professionally across multiple schools

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
