Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

Little Scallywags Rowley Regis are currently seeking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our team who is also passionate about early years. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will focus on high quality affordable childcare from 9 months to 5 years of age.

Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:30.

37 hours a week

£8.00 per hour

Wage rises to National Minimum Wage after 12 months

Early Years Educator level 3

Duration: 18 months

Training provider: LMP Education

As a key part of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the education and development of your key children through quality of teaching and learning.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate children's development
• Monitor and observe children to ensure their well-being and safety
• Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress

Maths and English at GCSE level A-C (4-9) or functional skills equivalent.

Little Scallywags Day Nurseries consists of seven settings around the Birmingham and Staffordshire area. The nurseries are a family run business and benefit from the skills and experience of a strong management team, including nursing, qualified teacher status and family support
