We’ve partnered with a well-known company based in black country. We are looking to recruit an electrically bias maintenance engineer. My client is an established and growing UK industrial business with a strong heritage, modern facilities and a focus on quality, reliability and continuous improvement.
This role is a multi-skilled role working in a heavy engineering environment. You will be working a Monday to Friday day shift with a team of engineers. My client is looking for a maintenance engineer that they can develop and progress their career.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
* £45,000 - £46,000
* Premium OT (x1.5 & x2).
* 33 days holiday.
* Pension.
* Training and development.
* Flexible time with possible early finish Friday.
* Days only.
Maintenance Engineer
Duties include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment
* Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
* Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults
* Maintaining motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and production machinery
* Carrying out reactive maintenance to minimise production downtime
* Completing routine inspection and servicing of equipment
* Working with PLC-controlled machinery and basic electrical control systems
Maintenance Engineer Requirements include:
* Apprentice trained.
* Recognised electrical qualifications.
* 18th edition (desirable).
* Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
* PLC fault finding would be beneficial.
