Extra Recruitment are currently seeking a motivated and analytical junior Data Analyst to join our clients on-site team in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in data analytics while contributing meaningful insights that improve operational performance and decision-making across the business.
Data Analyst Responsibilities
* Analyse operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
* Build and maintain dashboards and performance reporting packs
* Extract, cleanse, and validate data from ERP systems and other platforms
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop KPIs and track business performance
* Present clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
Data Analyst Details
* Location:
Wednesbury, WS10
* Salary: £26,000–£32,000 PA
* Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
Data Analyst Requirements
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
* Experience with Google Sheets/Workspace
* Willingness to learn Power BI or Looker Studio
* SQL/MySQL knowledge desirable but not essential
* Comfortable working with ERP systems and business applications
* Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn
