Join Our Team as a Vehicle Technical Advisor. As a Technical Advisor at The AA, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting customers and contact centre staff with your knowledge and experience. • Salary: £35,000 pa plus benefits
• Shifts:
  
  Between 0700 – 2000 Monday to Sunday
• Location:
  
  Oldbury, dynamic working with flexible office days

• Provide essential technical support, advice, and repair fixes to customers over the telephone, ensuring genuine breakdowns are addressed.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively to resolve breakdowns and simplify information for customers.
• Record data accurately in relevant databases to support management insights and decision-making.
• Focus on target‑driven results while delivering excellent customer service.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent, plus substantial industry experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to provide technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical information into simple terms.
• Flexible and willing to work outside normal hours and on a roster that includes weekends.
